For Jason Penfold’s fifth collection, he turns his focus to heavenly constellations, capturing their everlasting allure and our enduring fascination with lights in the night sky.

 

Pausing from telling his own story, Penfold has recreated the ancient stories given to the stars through his lens of entomology and geology, creating six works that capture the luminescence and colours seen while star gazing.

 

Forged metal has been softly shaped to mimic splashes of stars, with a shining array of Herkimer diamonds and specimens reminiscent of gazing upon the celestial sky.
